Description

Change that bad/faulty jack connection on your Rhodes once and for all. This is a premium Switchcraft 1/4″ (6.35mm) mono jack socket to lock your cable into place.

Requires clipping/desoldering of old jack and soldering of new one. See instructions tab for installation guide.

Instructions

Disconnect the RCA Cable from the harp RCA socket.
Unscrew the name rail from the cheek blocks at either side and remove from the piano.
Clip or desolder the positive and ground cables from the jack socket.
Using a 1/2" nut driver or wrench remove the jack socket from the name rail
Insert the new jack socket and tighten the nut screw.
Solder the disconnected cables to the new jack socket. Make sure the positive connection is from the 'bass boost' pot and the ground is from the volume pot.
Put the name rail back in place, screw it down, and connect the RCA cable to the harp.
